“The purpose of my path in life is to help you create an environment where your transformation begins to become a healthy, happy, and loving human being.” –Raman K. Pathik
The Three Stages of Human Development. In both Sections I and II of Chapter 2, Pathik describes the three stages of human development. Now, he shares the ideal environment for these stages for children to become healthy, happy, and loving human beings.
Stage 1: The ideal environment for the fetus to transform into a healthy, happy, and loving human baby begins with the mother’s care of herself and her environment. The mother is sharing her breath, water, nutritional food, activity, and energy with the embryo from the moment of conception. Unhealthy foods, unclean air, and polluted air go directly into the baby’s bloodstream. Physical activity, which produces human energy, is essential for the mother and unborn baby. Lack of energy can lead to shallow, ineffectual breathing with not enough oxygen and too much carbon dioxide in the bloodstream. Also, many mothers do not realize that stress, worry, and fear affect the quality and depth of their breathing. Ongoing stress in the mother’s environment can cause repeated drops in the amount of oxygen in the baby’s blood supply, with increased levels of carbon dioxide, causing an unhealthy development of the baby. This can cause many birth defects, and some doctors believe that stress in the mother’s environment can lead to learning disabilities and mental illness in children.
Stage 2: Cocoon Stage Age 0-6. The ideal environment for a child to transform into a healthy, happy, and loving adult is by caring and sharing with family, friends, and community. Babies and small children learn by mimicking what they see around them. As they grow into children, teenagers, and young adults, they need to learn from both their Inner and Outer Minds to build social and mental skills and engage in physical activity to grow strong and energetic. They learn how to deal with other people and become self-sufficient, ready to transform into a caring, sharing role model.
Stage 3: The ideal environment for young adults to manifest their transformation on the journey of life is to be healthy, happy, and loving; rely upon themselves as self-sufficient, mature human beings; and provide caring and sharing for others in their family, community, and nation. They will have created a “toolbox” of skills and talents to manifest their dreams and ideals. If they allow their minds to become full of ego, greed, attachment, lust, and anger, they will find their transformation instead is on a dead-end path of stress, worry, fear, and chaos, which will make them unhealthy, unhappy, unloving, and in many cases, not loveable. This can shorten their lifespan and be passed onto their children and other people in their environment. The quality of one’s environment dictates the quality of their life. When people are self-sufficient, pro-active, and willing to help others to better the environment and community, their transformation to an adult will bring many rewards as they establish strong bonds, values, and a calm mindful outlook to have a healthy, happy, and loving quality of life.
